OLEKSANDRA KONDRATYEVA
Ms. Kondratyeva was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and studied dance at the National Ballet School of Kyiv where in 1998 she received her professional ballet dancer diploma.
Ms. Kondratyeva’s performing career with the Kyiv State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet for Children and Youth gave her the opportunity to perform in such ballets as Giselle, Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliette, La Bayadere and Swan Lake. She has toured to Germany, the U.S., and throughout Canada as a performer. She performed, choreographed and rehearsed with Canada’s Ukrainian Shumka Dancers for the Annual Shumka Gala and in 2005 Ms. Kondratyeva was a part of the Royal Christmas USA Tour with Andrea Bocelli together with the National Ballet of Ukraine.
In 2006 she has completed her master’s degree in the theory and critique of choreography and holds honor teaching degree as a ballet master in choreography and directing from the Kiev State Academy of Professional Directors of Culture and Arts.
In 2010 Ms. Kondratyeva joined the RWB School Professional Division artistic faculty where she taught ballet, pointe, character and conditioning classes. The RWBS gave her opportunities to be a juror and coach for the First Steps choreographic competition, to choreograph and rehearse for Ballet In The Park, Concert Hour Ballet and Spotlight performances. In 2015 she traveled to Tokyo, Japan to adjudicate Kawasaki All Japan Ballet Competition. In 2016 Ms. Kondratyeva choreographed a one-act ballet for the Spotlight performance utilizing an entire school. An insert of her ballet was performed at the Annual RWB Gala 2016.
