Principal Ballet Master in Academy of Russian Classical Ballet

 

 

A native of Ulan-Ude, Russia, Roman received his Vaganova ballet training at the esteemed Krasnoyarsk National Ballet Academy in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Upon graduation from the Krasnoyarsk National Ballet Academy, Roma was invited to join the Krasnoyarsk National Ballet Theatre as a professional dancer.  Soon after, Roman was invited to join the famed Russian State Ballet in Moscow, Russia.  Upon moving to the United States, Roman danced with Ballet Internationale in Indiana, and the Metropolitan Classical Ballet of Texas.

Roman is honored to have worked under the coaching of many legendary ballet dancers and masters, including Irina Kolpakova , Tatiana Pali , Vera Soloveva , Vladilen Semenov , Nikolai Levitsky , Andrey Kudelin , Vyacheslav Gordeev , Eldar Aliev , Paul Mejia , Alexander Vetrov  and Yuri Burlaka .  His professional repertoire includes: “The Nutcracker”, “Don Quixote”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Cinderella” , “Swan Lake” , “Giselle” , “Paquita” , “Chopiniana” , “Le Corsaire” and many more classical ballet productions. Additionally, Roman performed in many contemporary ballet productions such as: “Dracula”, “Juno & Avos” , “Eight by Adler” , “Antigone” , “On Earth We Stand” , “Love and Gravity”, “The Phantom of the Opera” , and “Paganini”. Roman was a non-competing partner at the Youth American Grand Prix ballet competition for the regionals and the New York City finals. Roman also has extensive teaching experience as ballet instructor with the “Russian Ballet Academy of Indiana”.
